Technology demonstrative video

Elianto exploits the Fresnel principle to create an innovative and efficient
solar collector. The reflectors follow the solar path in order to focus its
energy beam towards an absorber tube.

The video on the left describes in detail how electricity and heat
are produced from our plants. You can observe all the processes running
in the CSP plants, from the reflectors move, while following the solar beam,
to the electrical and thermal production.

Our prototype

Several R&D projects carried out by Elianto have lead to
the realization of a plant prototype, located near Cagliari.

The prototype will also be used in the future as a laboratory
for further experimentations and data collection.
The data deriving from the prototype performance gathered
at present, have enabled the outline of our precompetitive development.
We aim to continuously improve our technological choices and consider
further options in terms of operative and installation development.
